Family & Friend Reunions and Wedding Guests:
Birch Hill Bed & Breakfast is an ideal location for reunions and get-togethers. Our at home casual and cozy atmosphere is perfect for a weekend of relaxation and fun. The Chestnut Room, our guest lounge, and breakfast room, built in the early 1900s, is made of beautiful chestnut wood [no longer available], red oak flooring, and with shimmering leaded glass window panes. A large working fireplace, games, a huge audio CD collection, library, satellite TV, and comfortable sofas and club chairs make this the perfect meeting room; or simply relax in peaceful quiet, put your feet up, and read to your hearts content.
During the Off-Season [See Rooms & Rates], and non-holiday weekends, we will accommodate your pocketbook by offering a minimum 2 night weekend stay at weekday rates, for a minimum of 4 rooms; quite a substantial savings.
A night with fresh flowers, fruit & cheese, a split of champagne, chocolates, and a room with a working fireplace provide the basis for that intimate weekend with your loved-one, which both of you have been yearning for. The perfect getaway from your hectic schedules. Slight extra *$50.00 charge.
Ski & Stay:
Our weekday Winter/Spring skiing package is hard to beat. At *$55.00 per person, double occupancy and a 2 night minimum required, you cannot go wrong. We have set aside several of our rooms for this package offer, which includes a full mouth-watering breakfast, and $15.00 per person ski lift coupon [good against a full day lift ticket] at Catamount Ski Area [only 6 miles away].
A turn of the century [20th] quarter-cut oak Stickley conference table, red oak flooring, shimmering lead glass window panes overlooking a manicured lawn, pine trees, and lake, along with a crackling fire, when added to the quiet and inspiring atmosphere of The Chestnut Room, provides the perfect setting to participate in a poetry weekend or weekday workshop. The workshop, at a nominal extra charge, will be conducted by a published local poet, who has the expertise in the methodology of poetry: writing, readings, and publishing. Please call for further details.
